Marine EPIRBs and Emergency Communicators
Salcom is the longest serving manufacturer of marine rescue beacons in the Southern Hemisphere. Demand for Salcom's longest established product, the 121.5/243MHz EPIRB Marine rescue Beacon continues to increase, with about 80% of production being exported. The beacon is approved to the Australian specification drafted for COSPAS/SARSAT satellite compatibility. This product is regularly updated to meet changing regulatory requirements and to provide new features.

UHF Transmitters and Receivers
Salcom UHF Transmitters and Receivers provide high performance, high technology, low current consumption, versatility, ruggedness and affordability. The Salcom range of RF products offer the perfect communications solution for voice transmission, remote monitoring, control systems, tone or data telemetry and security applications.
Each Salcom RF product (other than rack mounted versions) is housed in a durable metal case with a detachable lid with holes provided for simple wall mounting. A Salcom standard 15 pin "D" range interface is provided on each unit for interconnection with other equipment. 600 Ohm inputs (transmitter) and outputs (receiver) are line control options available on all units, further enhancing the versatility of the product range.
