Salcom is pleased to announce that the Salcom MRB406 EPIRB is available. The MRB406 transmits on 121.5MHz and 406.028Mhz and complies with the requirements of the COSPAS SARSAT 406MHz Satellite location global network.

The 1180 MRB406 is a Class II - Manual/Auto activation device which means that when removed from the mounting bracket and the antenna released, it will automatically activate in water, but also may be manually activated if required.

The unique antenna provides maximum performance in the sea and above the water in a life raft or on a ship.
